And let's remember that ALL God's promises find their Yes in Jesus (2 Cor 1:20) - God's people (in Jesus); in God's place (in Jesus); and under God's rule (the perfect obedience of Jesus).
If we are to love the Lord our God with all our heart, mind and soul, we are to love our neighbour as ourselves (Mt 22:39-40). Let's not be like the lawyer who tried to justify himself and ask "Who is my neighbour?' (Lk 10:25-37). And let's begin with the household of God.
